Drexel University and West Philadelphia: Growing Together

University President John A. Fry has led an institutional effort to position Drexel as the "most civically engaged university in the United States" by hiring a vice provost for university and community partnerships and creating a related committee on the board of trustees. Drexel representatives have worked closely with local leaders to build trust and create mutual benefit through various initiatives, described in the case study.
