This historical publication was issued by the Sub-Committee on Legal Digest for the purpose of summarizing the status of housing legislation in the eight states which had regular legislative sessions in 1940. This is an update to a 1939 summary and includes new sections on mechanics lien laws, updates to the home financing sections, and an expansion of the federal legislation section.
