This historic document is a financial report describing the income, expenses, liabilities, and assets of the NHA’s Federal Public Housing Authority for fiscal years ending in June 1941 and 1942. The report includes financial information for the then-new Federal Public Housing Agency and its predecessor organization, the United States Housing Authority. In February 1942, Executive Order 9070 consolidated various federal housing agencies under the National Housing Agency, and provided that the U.S. Housing Authority would be administered as the Federal Public Housing Authority moving forward.
